1. General

1.1 Punishment

1.1.1 Players who violate the following rules may be given a card. In serious cases the supervisors may consult with the CoD1Mania Crew and a decision to impose a temporary or permanent ban from all CoD1Mania competitions may be taken.

1.1.2 A clan can be given 3 types of card:

  • Yellow card: This card is given out for small rule violations. When a yellow card is given in some cases a match result could be changed in favor of the opposing player. Other then that this card mostly is a warning. A second yellow card is to be considered as one red card.
  • Red card: The match in which they received this card will be changed into a forfeit loss. In some cases this card is handed out together with one or more player bans. A second red card falls in the category ‘Two red cards’ below.
  • Two red cards: A player that has been given two red cards will be kicked from the running competetion. In some cases a second red card is handed out together with player and/or an entire team ban(s) for 1 or more seasons/competetions.

1.1.3 Only 1 card can be given for each match. In case of several violations only the most severe card will be handed out. However, all extra punishments for each of the rule that was violated are still applied. When a player is given a red card all previous given yellow cards are removed.

1.1.4 Abusive behaviour towards a CoD1Mania Admin or Supervisor, Referee or opponent, at any time during the cup season, can be punished by the supervisor. Sanction: . If the abuse is severe a supervisor can also punish with a temporary or permanent removal from the running competetion of either the offending players or the entire team.

1.1.5 The Clanleader or Teamcaptain is responsible for his own members knowing and following the rules. A Clanleader or Teamcaptain breaking the rules may incur penalties against the whole team in case of other Cups.

1.1.6 If a player will be banned by Punkbuster within a match, the match will end and the compete team will get an default win. Please create a screenshot from this event with timestamp, so the staff member can look into this.

1.2 Spectating

1.2.1 CoD1Mania reserves the right to broadcast every match. This can be done with online game broadcast tools for spectating purposes (e.g. Twitch, Youtube). The recording of such broadcasts can’t be refused by the players. In many cases CoD1Mania will allow or ask third parties to broadcast the matches. Spectators may never be charged.

1.2.2 Spectating during an official match is not allowed. Cod1Mania Referees or Cod1Mania Streamers are allowed to specate the match. Should spectators which are not allowed enter the server, the game should be paused and the disallowed spectators made to leave before the match continues.

1.3 Leaving

1.3.1 Teams who quit the cup or who are removed from the cup for 2 noshows/forfeits are likely to be excluded from the next competition hosted by CoD1Mania.

1.3.2 Reconnecting during the match without any reason is not allowed. Sanction: Yellow card.

1.3.3 If a player drops because of a technical error the match must be paused at the end of the round. The maximum time you can pause is 5 minutes, which is enough time to reboot and reconnect or to find a new player.

1.4 Registration

1.4.1 Every Player has to enter his GUID on the CoD1 Mania Webpage before he can play any matches. GUID’s are unique identifiers used in games to recognize players.

1.4.2 The last change of a GUID can not be done later than 24 hours before a match. Players who did not register the correct GUID more than 24 hours before a match are not allowed to play. If they do, it’s match forfeit loss for their team.

1.4.3 A team can only use players during a match that are registered in the Players list minimum 24 hours before the start of the match. Using a player that is not registered in the Players list of a team will result in a forfeit loss.

1.4.4 A team can only use players who have not played in the same cup/division season for another team. Using a player who is not allowed to play (f.e they played for another team in the same cup/division season or a banned player) will result in a Red Card and match forfeit.

1.4.5 If a player is on the Allowed Players List of more than 1 team in the cup/division season, they are only eligible to play for 1 team of their choice.

1.4.6 Players always have to be easily identifiable to admins, opponents and spectators. Therefore, players must use easily identifiable nicks during the match which are the same as (or very closely resemble) those registered on their Allowed Players List. Sanctions: Yellow Card.

3. Match Rules – General

3.1 Once a match has started, its result counts, unless both sides agree it shouldn’t. Ping, lag issues or incorrect server settings are no excuse for leaving – you should have checked a server before you started playing.

3.2 If one team walks away from a match, the score at a time when their last player quits can be considered to be the result of a match if a team that didn’t leave was leading. If the leaving team was winning but the losing team could have still won the match, CoD1Mania will change it to the advantage of a team that didn’t leave.

3.3 Once one team has entered a result and both teams do nothing for 24 hours, the score is accepted automatically.

3.4 Entering a fake score is not allowed, if we see any teams who are constantly violating this rule they will be appropriately punished.

3.5 Both the Panzerfaust and the FG42 weapon will be disabled for the duration of the match. All other weapons are available for use.

3.6 Each team is limited to one sniper only. The other team members may not pick up a sniper rifle. Should two players from the same team wield a sniper rifle in one and the same round in a Search and Destroy match, that round will given to the opponent.

3.6.1 We are aware that you sometimes accidentally pickup a sniper rifle. This will not be sanctioned unless the sniper rifle is wielded.

3.7 Every team can call one tactical timeout each match.

3.8 Each team is responsible to put the commands ‘/pb_plist’ and ‘/screenshot’ in console to make a screenshot of the GUIDs in a match.

The use of such program or file outside the cup may lead to the same sanction.

All other repeated movements are allowed, until the attacker is visible. As for proof the shot party’s demo is needed, where it is clearly stated that the attacker was invisible/unseen. The performer of the invisible/unseen shot will be punished with a yellow card. Repeated cases on the same match can be punished differently (e.g. when someone does it during a whole match, continuously), based on the actual amount of abuses.
